Mosskeeper is found where the forest is oldest—beneath towering ferns, among moss-covered stones and fallen trees slowly returning to the earth.
The Storytellers believe it once belonged to the guardian of the forest floor, whose task was not to rule the wilderness, but to care for the quiet lives beneath notice.
Those who linger there often leave with the curious feeling that, for a little while, the forest was watching them in return.
