The Hollow Faces

They are rarely found.

Buried beneath roots. Hidden in abandoned shrines. Hanging from branches where no tree should grow.

These are the Hollow Faces.

Some believe they are ceremonial relics. The Storytellers say they were worn by the Old Ones during Rituals of Seeing to reveal hidden paths.

It is said to wear one is not to become someone else.

It is simply to see a little further than before.

No one knows what Maker shaped them.

Only that wherever a Hollow Face is found the silence seems to linger a little longer….
