Molten Myrtle
Identification
One of the oldest dragons still living on the Taieri Plains, Myrtle remembers hearing the mournful cries of the great taniwha Meremere as it carved the Taieri Gorge. She rarely speaks of those days, but on quiet evenings she can sometimes be found gazing south, lost in memories far older than any human settlement.
Behavior
Despite her ancient lineage, Myrtle has developed a thoroughly modern weakness—freshly brewed coffee. Not instant. Never instant. Strong, hot coffee left unattended for even a minute is considered fair game.
Favorite Hiding Places
Sunny verandas, garden tables and anywhere with a clear view of someone's favourite coffee mug.
Known Misdemeanors
Responsible for an astonishing number of mysteriously empty coffee cups throughout the Taieri district.
